Enjoy our outdoor movie night series or sign up for one of our winter workshops. We'll bring the cheer back into your holidays this year! ...in a covid-safe way. 

Due to the Stay-At-Home Order, we'll be cancelling movie nights on the farm and moving workshops virtual. The primary goals is the safety of our community and we'll continue to monitor the county and state health officials for guidance. 


Needle Felting Workshop

Welcome to the world of Natural Fibers! During this virtual class, we will walk through the step by step procress of making a needle felted fairy or angel ornament out of natural wools in the comfort of your home. Our team will make sure you have all the supplies needed for the class and available for pick up at the farm stand leading up to your workshop date. The day of the workshop, set up your supplies on a table and we'll send you a zoom invitation to get started.

Wreath Making

We're moving our weath making workshop virtual! Instead of meeting on the farm for a holiday evening of wreath making, we'll meet virtually in the comfort and safety of our homes.  Our team will bundle together all the supplies needed for the class and have them available for pick up at the farm stand leading up to your class. The day of the workshop, set up your supplies on a table with enough room to spread our the foliage and we'll send you a zoom invitation to get started.

Everyday Sourdough:
Introduction to Naturally Leavened Bread

Join Vanessa Bolden of Riviera Bread for a beginner-level workshop covering the basics of sourdough bread baking. Learn how to start and maintain a wild yeast sourdough culture, guides for flour selection, techniques for mixing, shaping, and baking loaves, and suggested recipes and uses for surplus starter and stale bread. 

 
This is a VIRTUAL demonstration-based course. A small loaf of Riviera bread and sample starter culture are included as well as printed instructions. Please collect class materials from the Fairview Gardens Farmstand on Saturday morning (open at 9am) before the course begins at 11am. A live link will be sent to you with your email confirmation.

Outdoor Holiday Movie Night Series

Bring your blankets, beach chairs, movie snacks and drinks, and bundle up for a holiday movie under the stars. Limited spaces available, please purchase your tickets ahead of time! Due to Covid, we will not be accepting walk ins. Seating opens at 5:00pm and movies starts promptly at 5:30pm. Groups are limited to a maximum of 6 persons.
